The most powerful Honda NSX ever develops 600 hp

The supercar of the Japanese company was presented a few days ago on the American market, where it is sold within the Acura brand.

The second generation of this sports two-seater was introduced 5 years ago as a hybrid with a combination of V6 engine and three electric motors, and the new version of the NSX has the Type S designation, and will be available in a limited series of only 350 copies.

This limited edition comes in gray or red, with black detailing, red brake calipers and Type S markings above the rear wheels. Each of the 350 copies will also receive a label with the model number.

Compared to the standard model, the battery capacity has been increased and the nine-speed automatic transmission with double clutch has been improved, while the drive system consisting of a 3.5-liter V6 engine and three electric motors now develops 20 hp more, or exactly 600 hp. Production of the second-generation NSX will continue at Honda's plant in the United States, along with this special edition, until December 2022, when the end of production of this sports model is scheduled.

This supercar will not be available in Europe, however, because the sale of the NSX on the Old Continent ended last year.
